The Centro di Lingua e Cultura Italiana IL FARO was founded by three friends and colleagues who decided to accomplish a dream: to open a school of Italian language, near Venice, in a fresh, friendly and lively atmosphere.

Il FARO holds intensive language courses for different levels, in small classes of six students following the school specific teaching method, and using exclusively the Italian language for all levels, since the first day of class. The school of Italian language Il FARO also organizes special focus classes on History of Italian Art, Italian Literature, Legal Italian and Italian for Business, and evening seminars (free of charge) of Italian music and Italian Cinema.

The Language School Il FARO is situated in the city of Caorle, a picturesque port town, in the vicinity of Venice, justly called “the pearl of the Adriatic Sea” for its similarities to Venice, its golden beaches, untouched natural landscapes, and its interesting combination of culture and amusements. Caorle’s irresistible charm is also increased by its privileged location, excellent for day-trips to Venice, Padua and Verona.

What’s more, IL FARO organizes private excursions to lesser known places of the Veneto, to coincide with markets, art fairs, culinary festivals, historical re-evocations, and concerts, in order to grasp a true sense of Italian life in the region.
