The Centro di Lingua e Cultura Italiana IL FARO was founded by three friends and colleagues who, after teaching Italian for many years at numerous institutions, decided to create their own language school charged with the mission to teach Italian in a fresh, friendly and lively atmosphere.


Laura Donadon graduated at the University Ca’ Foscari of Venice with a degree in Modern Italian Literature and a specialization in History of Art.
She has collaborated as press agent in a local press house that promoted local culture and art. She then worked as a guide in important art exhibitions of Italian and International art in Treviso.
She is a certified high school teacher of Italian language and Literature, and she also teaches in a local middle school.

 



Liviana Cechet graduated at the University of Trieste with a degree in Political Science and International Relationships.
She taught juridical and economical courses in Italian high schools, while also pursuing an education in language pedagogy.
She then became a teacher of Italian language and culture in summer schools of Italian, and a promoter of cultural exchange between Italy and Slovenia.
She is fluent in Slovenian.



Barbara Garbin is also a graduate of the University Ca’ Foscari in Venice with a major in Italian Contemporary Literature. She then attended Yale University achieving a Master’s Degree in Italian Literature. She is currently working at Mount Holyoke College (U.S.A.) while completing her Ph.D. dissertation.
She has an extensive teaching experience of the Italian language both in American universities (Yale, Mount Holyoke College and University of Massachusetts, Amherst), and in summer schools of Italian in Italy.
